On November 28, 2023, the ZJE Biomedical-Cell Structure and Function Symposium was successfully held in the East Hall of the International Campus. The purpose of this symposium was to promote face-to-face communication between young ZJE scholars and experts in the field of cell structure. Five domestic experts and three young ZJE PIs were invited to give presentations, focusing on in-depth discussions and ideational collisions on academic issues such as Molecular Mechanism of Multi-cellular Autophagy, Regulatory Mechanism and Its Relationship with Diseases, Regulatory Mechanism and Physiological Functions of Lysosomal Homeostasis, Research on Endoplasmic Reticulum Morphology and Function, and Intracellular Membrane Dynamics and Function. The symposium attracted more than 100 teachers and students, enabling the students to not only understand the frontier dynamics and latest research achievements in the field of biomedical cell structure and function, but also to develop their own scientific thinking abilities. The symposium was chaired by three senior undergraduate students from ZJE and a postgraduate student from UoE, who received praise from the experts present. With the enthusiastic participation of the faculty and students from ZJE, the symposium was a complete success.
