On March 12, 2026, the Zhejiang University-University of Edinburgh Institute (ZJE) held its 2026 Undergraduate Recruitment Training Conference in the ZJE Building. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the student recruitment policy and marketing strategy for the year 2026, officially launching the ZJE undergraduate Recruitment Work Plan.
More than 60 faculty and staff members from ZJE and the International Campus attended the meeting. Participants included the Prof. KE Yuehai, Dean of ZJE; Prof. CHEN Di, Vice Dean of ZJE; and faculty and staff recruitment representatives from the International Campus.
Prof. KE Yuehai, Dean of ZJE, delivered a speech about the development of ZJE Institute, covering aspects such as disciplinary advancements of biomedical in the biomedical sciences field. He stated that the field of biomedical science is undergoing rapid evolution, and the talents cultivated by ZJE are precisely what the era demands. He also expressed his gratitude to all faculty and staff for their active participation in the Institute's development and their crucial role in the student recruitment efforts.
Prof. CHEN Di, Vice Dean Of ZJE, further emphasized the Institute's rapid progress, particularly in faculty team and research achievements, and mobilized the team for the recruitment work ahead. He underscored the importance of a collective effort from all staff and students, aiming to enhance the Institute's development by focusing on attracting high-quality prospective students.
Prof. KE and Prof. CHEN shared their experiences and suggestion. Huang Xiaohan, Director of ZJE Office of General Administration, outlined the ZJE 2026 recruitment plan for the attendees, covering key areas such as interpreting national college entrance examination policies, defining marketing directions, and detailing the schedule for recruitment work.
The successful convening of this training conference has officially activated the ZJE 2026 undergraduate recruitment work, mobilizing all faculty and staff to actively participate and collectively contribute to the high-quality development of undergraduate recruitment at the International Campus.
