Professor Guojie Zhang is an expert in biodiversity genomics and ecological evolutionary genomics. He is currently a chair professor at Evolutionary & Organismal Biology Research Center of Zhejiang University, and an adjunct professor at the University of Copenhagen and the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Before he joined Zhejiang University, he was also the youngest full professor at the University of Copenhagen.
Professor Guojie Zhang has made outstanding academic contributions in the frontier field of biodiversity genomics and ecological evolutionary genomics. As of August 2019, more than 120 papers have been published in international high-impact academic journals, including 14 articles in Science, 8 articles in Nature, 6 articles in Nature Genetics, 1 article in Cell, and dozens of Nature research journals. He has successively served as a judge for many national foundations such as the United States, Canada, France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, etc., and has served as a manuscript reviewer for many top international journals including Nature, Science, and Cell. He is also as editorial Board member of GigaScience, Human Heredity, Zoological Research and the Encyclopedia of Life Sciences.
